Super Bowl is coming!

Portland Chapter:

There will be lots of chocolate sampling throughout the day, the world's largest truffle, and chocolate makers from all over Oregon. We will be stationed at the chocolate fountain handing out "goodies".

Time: The event runs 10:00am-5:00pm They should only need us for part of that time (1-5), but a follow up to this email will confirm the times for those interested by 1/20.

Convention is coming!
What is convention? It is a chance for all the Oregon chapters to get together, to get some good training and have fun! McMinnville is hosting the event. Special guest is CJ Jorif from Nationals. Please see the attached flier for more information or visit the website at www.oregonjaycees.org


Business Networking
And finally, our Business Networking Meeting for February is Wednesday the 13th (always the 2nd Wednesday of the month) at Players 17880 SW Lower Boones Ferry Road, Lake Oswego (behind M-Bank, next to 24 Hour Fitness). The topic is “How to Deal with Difficult People.” This is normally a 4 hour seminar. So when you RSVP, please let us know which difficult personality you deal with regularly that you would like pointers with. They are:

The Tank (rolls over you) The Know-it-All

The Sniper (back stabbing) The Think-they-know-it-all

The No (always says no) The Whiner

The Yes (the over committer) The Nothing Person (they’re just not there. . . .)

The Maybe (never get an answer) The Grenade (intentional bomb dropper)
